Sales Development Specialist

Job Description

The Sales Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales team by creating quotes for customers, following up on inbound leads, performing outbound calls within specified markets, conducting virtual meetings, and managing relationships with existing contractor-type accounts. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively qualify leads and close sales opportunities.

Job Requirements
  • Create accurate and competitive quotes for customers based on requirements and pricing guidelines

  • Collaborate with sales team and relevant departments to gather necessary information for quote creation

  • Respond promptly to warm inbound leads received through various channels (phone, email, website, etc.).

  • Engage with potential customers to understand needs, qualify requirements, and determine appropriate solutions.

  • Provide product information, address inquiries, and overcome objections to generate interest and move leads through the sales pipeline.

  • Conduct proactive outbound calls to prospects within specified markets to generate new leads and opportunities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing contractor-type accounts.

  • Ability to think outside of the box, give recommendations to educate, and give guidance to best fill the customer needs

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

  • Minimum 1 year previous work history with proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in a B2B environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to actively listen and engage with customers.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software, sales tools, and other relevant technology.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

  • Some travel as needed

Compensation & Benefits: $50-60K

Working Conditions
