Q: What's one piece of gear or uniform item you still have and why?

Q: Did you have a nickname during your service? If so, what was it and how did you get it?
"I had a few nicknames during my time in the service. 'Frank Sweet' (long story), 'Bubba' (from a busted lip), and 'Hennessy' (clever play on my last name)."

Q: Have you or someone you know ever benefited from programs like the Wounded Warrior Project?
"Not specifically the Wounded Warrior Project, but when my best friend from the Marine Corps was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia—linked to his service—he received benefits that helped cover his flights to and from Houston for treatment.
During that time, we wanted to support him and his wife financially, so a few of us who were close to them started The Weber Impact, a nonprofit that helps veterans and their families who are battling cancer."
Q: What would you want others to understand about the importance of supporting veteran-focused organizations?
"Supporting veterans in need is crucial, whether it is an organization or an individual veteran, all support is appreciated by those struggling."

Many veterans carry scars that can't be seen."
