Kattcare Technician

Job Description

The Kattcare Technician practical and experienced in typical construction methods, mechanically minded. Someone who provides on-site client support and technical assistance to help ensure an efficient and top quality Kattcare experience while ensuring profitability for the company.

We design the highest quality products in the industry and provide all the specifications needed for safe installation. We’re obsessed with making height safety and access systems as simple and safe as possible.

Job Requirements

  • Support the installation of fall protection and safe access system installations where required. Support does not include actual physical installation. It is a mentoring role that may include demonstration of best practices and to ensure that project completion is compliant with FF and relevant standards.

  • Document the project accurately and complete ‘Project Completion Reports’ as required. Ensure any installation issue is corrected and in accord with guidelines prior to approval.

  • Provide remote support to installers of Kattsafe products to ensure a safe and compliant installation.

  • Ensure Kattcare vehicles are routinely maintained by dealer and cleaned to ensure they represent our brand in a positive way

  • Understand all Kattsafe products and confidently advise the client/customer on products that would best suit their needs

  • Recognize inferior products onsite with clients to complete accurate and audits and give recommendations to make their high access safe and compliant

  • Understand all industry standards, both federal and state and ensure all Kattsafe systems meet or exceed regulations

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • OSHA 30hr course is preferred

  • Ability to read understand construction drawings required

  • Knowledgeable about industry standards (OSHA & ANSI), including local state regulations preferred

  • Ability to travel 75% of the year

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, use hands to finger, and handle controls. Standing, stooping, and walking could be requirements of the position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
