It’s Important to Prioritize Exterior Roof Access During COVID-19

Prioritizing exterior roof access is as important as ever. The COVID-19 pandemic has influenced so many areas of our lives. We now are trying to find ways to limit human interactions and reduce the need for people to access our facilities.

Many contractors that are servicing rooftop mounted HVAC units, communication equipment, and security equipment require interior access to access the rooftop. This results in increased foot traffic and can put additional burden on companies that are performing health checks on all visitors accessing the facility.

A simple solution to this increasing issue is to consider installing an exterior roof access system such as a fixed ladder, stair system, or even a portable ladder attachment point.

The Kattsafe range of Aluminum Fixed Ladders are available for quick ship and can accommodate all applications. The Kattsafe Portable Ladder Landing Platform and Ladder Dock can easily be mounted to provide a safe, secure roof access point for contractors using portable ladders. For increased safety, the Kattsafe Stair systems can be configured for any application and will provide the ultimate level of safety, particularly for facilities that require frequent roof access.

Contact Kattsafe for further information relating to the many access systems available that will help minimize internal access and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
