System overview
Kattsafe self-closing gates help protect access openings on ladders, guardrail, and walkway systems. Self-closing hinges automatically return the gate to the closed position after passage, reducing the risk of an opening being left unprotected. Mill-finish aluminum construction provides a lightweight, corrosion-resistant solution.
Choose the standard GW390 with a ~27″ overall length, or the adjustable GW390A, which can be cut to fit the required gate width during installation.

Simple install: Attaches to existing posts with 3/4" stainless steel tek screws, two per hinge (Install Manual, p. 6).
Swings to safety: Opens outward, away from the ladder opening or roof edge.
Works across systems: Fits fixed ladders, guardrail, and walkways.
Supports OSHA compliance: Helps meet OSHA 1910.29(b)(13). That section requires access openings in guardrail, such as ladderways, to have a self-closing gate or an offset.
